Stress and Time Management Trainer — Abegail Tongco

Abegail Pulma-Tongco has been in the human resources (HR) and organization development (OD) practice for more than 15 years.

As an HR and OD consultant and trainer, she has been exposed to companies of various sizes and industries: banking and finance, BPO, KPO, energy, water utility, academe, food and beverage, manufacturing, construction and engineering, website and software development, architectural and engineering consulting, real estate development, mining, hospitality, printing, and publishing.

She has implemented numerous consulting projects for government-owned and controlled corporations and local government units.

She is the training and consulting division director and concurrently the VisMin regional director of the Profiles Group of Companies.

She is a certified team and shared leadership coach (level 2) by the International Coaching Federation.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of the Philippines–Tacloban College.

She earned her master’s degree in business management from the same university. She is now working on her PhD in organization development.

 

Ethical Practices and Issues in Talent Acquisition Trainer: Donnavel BuloronMary Donnavel Libron-Buloron is a licensed psychometrician with a master’s degree in guidance and counseling. She is now working on her PhD in social psychology.

Her career experience is a mix of academe and industry practice:

After graduating cum laude from the University of the Philippines–Cebu, Donnavel, who took up psychology, worked as a talent development officer at an HR consulting firm in the city.

There, she handled various training programs and organizational development projects, honing her skills in training-outline creation, training implementation, and organizational assessment.

She went on to become the training officer of one of the city’s renowned non-government organizations.

As a training officer, she was responsible for setting up the organization’s training unit and overseeing the full training cycle, from planning to implementation and evaluation.

She was also responsible for creating the organization’s competency-based training, performance-management system, and succession planning.

Looking for opportunities outside the HR industry, she took a teaching job in one of Cebu’s prestigious colleges.

Donnavel has been teaching major subjects in psychology—such as psychological testing and assessment, social psychology, and experimental psychology—for the past nine years.

She has also been advising research projects and writing research articles for the college department’s journal.

While teaching, Donnavel ranked third in the 2015 psychometrician board examination nationwide. In the same year, she became the college’s guidance personnel.

Donnavel served as the psychology program head for the school year 2020–2021.

Aside from her academic career, she works as an associate consultant and facilitator at People Dynamics Inc.

In this role of Donnavel, she helps develop training modules and leadership assessment tools, among others.

She also manages several consulting and research projects for the clients of the said organization.

 

Leadership Development Program Facilitator: Kim Adaza

Kim Jane Alexis Adaza specializes in sales and marketing in the telecommunications, real estate, and human resource solutions industries for over 6 years and handles clients in the academe, government, and corporate sectors.

She is certified with Profiles International to coach and debrief professionals for personal and career development, as well as with GENOS International to deliver and coach applied emotional intelligence—these enable her to guide people to their full potential.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College and is pursuing graduate studies in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines Cebu.

Today, Kim serves as the Accounts Manager and HR Solutions Consultant for the Visayas and Mindanao clientele of Profiles Asia Pacific Inc., an ISO 9001:2015 Certified solutions provider and the pioneer and leader of online-based assessments in the Philippines.

 

Leadership Development Program Facilitator — Argel Mallare

Argel Carlo Mallare, REB is a well-rounded human resources management professional with demonstrated experience in leadership, planning and strategic thinking, analytical thinking, and research.

An experienced Trainer and Facilitator, he is also a certified DISC Practitioner on both People Dynamic’s DISC Personality Profiler Assessment Tool and Profiles International’s Profiles Performance Indicator.

Argel earned his bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Santo Tomas and has had 6 years’ worth of corporate work experience. His first engagement was with the Philippines’ preeminent broadcasting media company GMA Network Incorporated, where he gained significant preliminary experience in the Human Resources Department.

Following his employment with GMA, he transitioned into the real estate industry with a focus on training and sales in Federal Land Incorporated. Here he gained notable skills and experience as a Sales Trainer and obtained his license as a Real Estate Broker. As a trainer, he conducted numerous trainings on presenting, negotiating, problem-solving, sales effectiveness, basic financial planning, among several other crucial soft skills.
