About this Learning Session

Employee retention remains one of the most pressing challenges faced by organizations today. While many hiring decisions focus heavily on technical qualifications and experience, long-term employee success is often influenced by workplace behaviors, motivations, communication styles, and overall behavioral fit within the organization. Hiring mismatches can lead to disengagement, performance issues, and increased turnover, resulting in higher operational costs and disruptions in team productivity. As organizations continue to strengthen their workforce strategies, there is a growing need for more objective and data-informed approaches to recruitment and employee management.

“Right Hire, Longer Stay: Using Behavioral Assessments to Improve Retention” is designed to help HR professionals and hiring managers better understand how behavioral assessments, particularly the DISC Personality Profiler (DPP), can support smarter hiring and stronger retention strategies. The program explores the impact of employee turnover, the role of workplace behaviors in employee success, and the practical application of DISC insights across recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and employee development. Through discussions, workplace scenarios, and HR applications, participants will gain valuable insights on how behavioral understanding can contribute to improved engagement, stronger workplace relationships, and long-term workforce stability.
