Dr. Jocelyn PickDr. Jocelyn Reyes-Pick

Jocelyn is an educator and a consultant who is passionate about providing innovative solutions to help institutions and industries select and develop a high-performing workforce. 

She does these by understanding people, teams, and organizations at the deepest levels—thinking styles, natural tendencies, behaviors, preferences, and attitudes toward key workplace issues.  

Her interest areas include organization development and change, research, technology, analytics, and systems and processes.  

She recently coauthored the textbook entitled “Appreciating Organization Development” (Rex Publishing). 

She is a certified facilitator on  

  1. emotional intelligence (Genos International); 
  2. Everything DISC and Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team (Wiley); and 
  3. ProfileXT, Profiles Performance Indicator, and Checkpoint 360 Leadership Competency Feedback System (Profiles International). 

 Jocelyn holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in statistics from the University of the Philippines–Diliman.

She also obtained a doctorate degree in educational management from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. 

Add to that, she earned two master’s degrees from the University of Southern California in the USA: an MSBA in management and organization and an MBA in international business. 

She has served as the project manager of several stakeholder surveys for the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Philippine Business for Education 1000 Teachers Program, Youth Employment and Migration, and the National Youth Commission. 

She also served as the project director of various stakeholder surveys for Home Guaranty Corporation, Laguna Lake Development Authority, Philippine International Trading Corporation, National Food Authority, and the LBP Insurance Brokerage Inc.  

She spearheaded the research project under the Australian Aid DFAT for its five partner government agencies in the Philippines, as well as the recently concluded tracer study of the Adaptive Technology for Rehabilitation, Integration and Empowerment of the Visually Impaired. 

Prior to returning to the Philippines in 1998, Jocelyn was President of USA Apparel Corporation from 1990 to 1998, where she conducted surveys and designed customer service training programs for retail clients (large department stores).  

She has more than 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and conducting surveys and project management. 

She has been the president of the Institute of Management Consultants of the Philippines for the past five years and was recently elected as the president of the Confederation of Filipino Consulting Organization of the Philippines, the recognized umbrella organization of Filipino consulting organizations. 

For the past 14 years, Jocelyn has been an active member of the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP). Currently, she sits on the PMAP board of trustees and, at the same time, the director in charge of PMAP’s awards committee, the director in charge of the academic-industry linkage committee, and a writer in its publication committee. Previously, she was the chairperson of its leadership and academe-industry committees.   

Jocelyn is a mentor to many employees, managers, young professionals, and graduate students. Her clients range from SMEs to large multinational companies both here and abroad.  

She is a part-time faculty at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Open University, where she teaches subjects on educational statistics, research, and organization development, and leadership effectiveness.  

She also teaches courses on the economics of education; education for sustainable development; and educational planning, organization, and management. 

Ms. Abegail Tongco

Abegail Pulma Tongco, PhD  

Abegail has been in the HR and OD practice for more than 15 years. As an HR and OD consultant and trainer; she has been exposed to companies in the banking and finance, BPO, KPO, energy, water utility, academe, food and beverage, manufacturing, construction and engineering, website and software development, architectural and engineering consulting, real estate development, mining, hospitality, printing and publishing industries. She has implemented consulting projects for GOCCs, government agencies and local government units, as well. 

She is the Training and Consulting Division Director and concurrently also the VisMin Regional Director of the Profiles Group of Companies. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Philippine Society for Talent Development (PSTD) National as the Research Committee Chairman. 

She is a certified Shared Leadership Coach and Team Coach, PxT, DISC and Genos EI practitioner. She is likewise a certified Kahoot content creator. 

She graduated with a college degree in Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences – Psychology. She earned her graduate degrees of Masters in Business Management and PhD in Organization Development. 

Ms. Ruby ManalacRuby Mañalac 

Ruby Mañalac is currently the COO of Emovation, Inc., the business unit of emotional intelligence and a proud affiliate of The Profiles Group of Companies. Her passion and purpose are to spread emotional intelligence with innovation as she advocates healing a currently hurting world while bringing out the best performance of people. 

She is one of the pioneers of The Profiles Group of Companies during its inception in 1999 and has been with the organization for over a decade. She has served in different capacities and has risen to her current role. 

 Ruby, a dedicated practitioner of Emotional Intelligence, was interviewed on ANC and CNN regarding this subject matter. 

Ruby has attended EI certificate courses twice in Sydney, Australia, and was one of the international speakers at the Genos Singapore International Conference last 2018 for best practices of EI. She was also part of the delegation that attended the Genos Hawaii, USA International Conference in 2019. She has had over a hundred talks and seminars about emotional intelligence with raving praises about her performance and expertise. 

She espouses that her significant learnings on emotional intelligence are through practice and life, saying, “It is best to start taking the first step and progressing.”

Joseph C. Francisco, RPsy, RPm, CSAP, CSCP 

He is a highly experienced professional in the field of industrial psychological testing with over 10 years of experience. He is adept in assessing individuals through thorough psychological evaluation and assessments. He manages and leads projects involving test developments, HR consulting, clinical evaluations, and other related services. 

  • Certified Specialist in Assessment Psychology and in Clinical Psychology.
  • He is also a Certified CHED General Education Trainer for ‘Understanding the Self’. 
  • A member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP), Philippine Mental Health Association, and Philippine Measurement & Evaluation Association. 

He is currently the designated Research and Development Director at Profiles Asia Pacific Inc. and a Research Consultant at National Council for Children’s Television. 

Ms. Donna Liburon

Mary Donnavel Libron-Buloron, PhD (Cand.), RPm 

Mary Donnavel A. Libron-Buloron is a licensed Psychometrician and has a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. She is also currently working towards her Ph.D in Social Psychology. She is a Certified Learning and Development Professional and a DISC Flow Emotional Intelligence Certified Practitioner. Her career experience is a mix of academe and industry practice geared towards training, learning and development. 

After graduating cum laude with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Philippines Cebu, she worked in a local HR consulting firm as Talent Development Officer. She also worked as the Training Officer of a non-government organization in Cebu where she set-up the training unit in one of their focus areas. She was responsible for overseeing and implementing the training processes from Training Needs Analysis, Module Development, Program Implementation, and Post Program evaluation.  

Aside from these, she created the competency-based training and performance management system, and the competency-based succession planning for the employees of the organization. Her corporate HR experience also helped her in her stint as Training Evaluation System consultant for a Competency-based training program. 

Looking for other opportunities outside of the HR industry, she went on to becoming a college professor in one of the prestigious local college in Cebu. In her 10 years academic, she taught major subjects in Psychology. Aside from teaching, she also functioned as the college department’s guidance personnel and the Psychology Program head for the year 2020-2021. 

Currently, she is the Learning and Development Manager of People Dynamics, Inc. In her role she develops modules for various training programs. She also developed a leadership assessment tool and assessed employees for a Leadership Development Program. She is also managing several consulting and research projects with the private and public sector clients of the organization.

 Jovit Cueva

He is an HR Practitioner in a local government unit with combined HR experience from both private and government organizations for more than 6 years. He is exposed in the different facets of HR like Recruitment, Selection and Placement, Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations and Discipline.
