In these times of uncertainty and disruptions, the organization’s level of agility and flexibility is crucial for business continuity.

Agility enables work teams to pivot efficiently according to changing market demands. Flexibility allows the company to transition and embrace new strategies effectively.

Leaders must thus be equipped with the competency to strategically plan and set goals in a period of uncertainty.

This training consists of four four-hour sessions, two per week, over a period of two weeks. Sessions are delivered via Zoom.

This training aims to widen participants’ perspectives by taking them out of the operational mindset of day-to-day challenges and guiding them through developing a more outcomes-oriented and strategic mindset.

Strategic Planning and Goal-Setting Trainer — Abegail TongcoAbegail Pulma-Tongco has been in the human resources (HR) and organization development (OD) practice for more than 15 years.

As an HR and OD consultant and trainer, she has been exposed to companies of various sizes and industries: banking and finance, BPO, KPO, energy, water utility, academe, food and beverage, manufacturing, construction and engineering, website and software development, architectural and engineering consulting, real estate development, mining, hospitality, printing, and publishing.

She has implemented numerous consulting projects for government-owned and controlled corporations and local government units.

She is the training and consulting division director and concurrently the VisMin regional director of the Profiles Group of Companies.

She is a certified team and shared leadership coach (level 2) by the International Coaching Federation.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of the Philippines–Tacloban College.

She earned her master’s degree in business management from the same university. She is now working on her PhD in organization development.

Strategic Planning and Goal-Setting Facilitator — Dr. Vida CaparasDr. Maria Vida G. Caparas, RPsy is a Genos Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and a licensed Psychologist, and also a Wiley-Certified Everything DISC Trainer. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Ph.D. Psychology at UST. She also obtained a Diploma in Public Management from UP Diliman as a government scholar.

Dr. Caparas is an Accredited Trainer of the Philippine Government with extensive and invaluable services in government and corporate offices. She served as Vice President of HR in New San Jose Builders, Inc., served as Director of Learning and Development for People Dynamics, Inc., In GMA Network, Inc. she also wrote for the Kapuso Magazine as the Managing Editor. She also became the Dean of the Graduate School at the Manila Central University.

Currently, aside from serving as a Consultant for The Profiles Group of Companies, she teaches in UST and Colegio de San Juan de Letran. She has authored five books in Psychology and Human Resource Management. Already a fulfilled academician and HR and OD practitioner, she has received several awards and recognitions.

Dr. Caparas was a Trainer Delegate of DFA-Foreign Service Institute in Italy and Singapore in 1999-2000.
